Programs Overview
The San Francisco Sports Medicine Foundation was established to help train and education future health care professionals interested in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. The program is administered by leading Orthopaedic Surgeons in San Francisco.
Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship
The Sports Medicine Fellowship trains one Orthopaedic Surgeon graduate in advanced training in knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, foot & ankle surgery. All areas of sports medicine are included with extensive experience in knee and shoulder management.
Pre-Clinical Orthopaedic Fellowship
The Pre-Clinical Orthopaedic Fellowship trains two US Medical School graduates in clinical and surgical care. It is ideal for a medical student taking a year off or a recent graduate seeking more experience prior to Orthopaedic Residency.
Health Professions Internship
The Health Professions Internship trains up to four college graduates who are interested in a career in medicine, nursing, or physician assisting.
